The climate crisis. Human induced climate change caused by extraction and burning of coal, oil and gas - so called "fossil fuels" will lead to catastrophic climate change, if left unregulated and unchecked. Climate change is already affecting everyone to some degree, but especially indigenous peoples, those living in poverty, the elderly, the disabled, and children.

Not everyone believes in human induced climate change. There are many who deny its existence and see it as a natural phenomena.
